A leading global provider of financial services is seeking a skilled and motivated Security Management Specialist to join its Global Security function. This organization plays a vital role in enabling the safe and reliable exchange of financial information between institutions across the world, and this position contributes directly to its ongoing mission of ensuring operational security and resilience.
In this role, you will support the enterprise vulnerability management program with a focus on infrastructure protection, security automation, and process optimization. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams globally and use tools like the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Module to drive secure practices and ensure timely remediation of risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability identification, analysis, and impact assessments across systems, considering both base and environmental conditions.
- Perform severity evaluations to guide the prioritization and tracking of remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to onboard systems to ServiceNow, provide ongoing support, and resolve technical issues.
- Analyze security architecture and recommend enhanced policies and procedural improvements.
- Lead efforts to automate and integrate vulnerability management workflows for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze large datasets to identify risks, track remediation, and support reporting and audit needs.
Required Skills & Experience
Security & Vulnerability Management
- 6–9 years of experience in Enterprise Vulnerability Management and Vulnerability Analysis
- Strong knowledge of Risk Management, Impact Assessment, and Remediation Prioritization
- Familiarity with Threat Management and Vulnerability Scanning best practices
Tools & Technologies
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response Module (4–5 years)
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB and security integration practices
- Experience designing and implementing security process automation
Collaboration & Communication
- Comfortable working with distributed teams across time zones
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in process design, exception handling, and teamwork
Data & Reporting
- Proficient in data analysis to support risk assessments and drive actionable insights
