Summary Description:

Next Ventures is seeking a Domain Architect OT to support the ongoing energy transition through the development and governance of its OT and telecom infrastructure. This is a strategically critical role, working across Telecom, OT Platforms, Datacenters, Station Automation, and Cybersecurity, following a Security by Design approach.

ASAP / Within 1 month (Flexible)

Location/Language:

Netherlands (On-site Hybrid)

Dutch & English fluency required

Requirements Description:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in OT architecture within critical infrastructure (preferably the energy sector), with deep understanding of security frameworks and scalable technical design.

Tasks Description:

• Own the architecture for OT and telecom domains
• Develop and maintain the OT & I&T Evolution Plan (5-year roadmap)
• Translate the evolution plan into actionable projects and frameworks
• Create and maintain Project Start Architecture documents
• Guide design and implementation teams through the project lifecycle
• Collaborate weekly with service delivery managers and security experts
• Work with frameworks like TOGAF and SAM (Stedin Architecture Model)

Essential Skills/Experience:

• University degree in Computer Science, Business IT, or similar
• 3–5+ years in an OT Architect or equivalent role
• Knowledge of: VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, Windows Server, Red Hat, storage/backups, networking (MPLS), SCADA, containers
• Familiarity with: IEC-62443, TOGAF, Archimate, SAFe, BPM (BlueDolphin)
• Strong stakeholder communication and advisory skills

Desirable Skills/Additional Info:

• Previous experience in the energy/utilities sector
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory landscapes in critical infrastructure
• Hands-on mindset with a strategic, long-term vision
