Remote in the Netherlands with a Valid work visa

Description:

You will work in Data & Analytics together with other Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Stewards and Data Architects. Together you will be joining cross-functional teams consisting of colleagues from Technology, Product and Design from the business domain of Business Support.

We enable co-workers in over 20 countries to simulate, optimise & evaluate their delivery offerings to maximise sales and/or profit.

The scope of the consultant services is to assist client in;

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join us in developing new revolutionary ways for client to build products that support strategic decision making and performance management. We are using cutting edge methodologies within cross-functional teams to keep *** leading in an exciting and fast-moving environment.

We would like your expertise to help us answer business questions like:

What will the experience of tomorrow look like?

1. How should we price our services to help us reach our financial goals and attract new customers?
2. How can we optimally distribute budget into our operations and developments?
3. No frequent travel is expected.

Requirements:

Desired knowledge, experience, competence, skills:

• Solid understanding of machine learning, statistical analysis, and probability theory.
• Broad knowledge of collaborative software engineering practices (Git, Agile, DevOps)
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages commonly used in data science.
• Experience with data manipulation tools (e.g., SQL, pandas) and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib).
• Strong business acumen and the ability to see the “big picture” behind the data.
• Deep curiosity and a creative approach to solving complex business problems.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tell stories with data.
• Broad knowledge of cross-functional digital product development principles and the importance of rapid validated learning cycles to optimize performance long term
• An educational background in engineering, computer science, statistics, econometrics, or a related field.
