Albany Beck is hiring for a skilled and detail-oriented Frontend Developer to join our growing delivery team, working on a long-term deployment with one of our top-tier clients in the financial services space. This role is ideal for a UI/UX-focused developer who enjoys building elegant, usable interfaces using modern frameworks and tooling.

Role Overview

As a Frontend Developer, you will work alongside cross-functional teams to design and build user interfaces that are both visually appealing and highly functional. You’ll use frameworks like Vue.js and React, apply strong UX principles, and contribute to the entire software development lifecycle in a modern agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement UI components and pages based on broad design specifications
• Develop single-page applications (SPAs) using Vue.js and React
• Apply strong UX fundamentals to ensure usability and accessibility
• Use state management tools like Pinia or Redux
• Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Develop unit and integration tests using Jest or Vitest
• Manage code with Git and contribute within a GitHub branching workflow
• Troubleshoot and debug UI-related issues across different OS and browser setups
• Build both custom UI components and extend framework-based components
• Collaborate effectively with backend developers via REST APIs
• Contribute to agile ceremonies and work in Scrum or Kanban environments
• Continuously stay up to date with frontend best practices and new technologies

Key Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of frontend development experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS
• Proven experience with React.js and/or Vue.js
• Solid knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest)
• Experience with build tools such as NPM or Yarn
• Version control with Git and collaboration via GitHub
• Basic understanding of Docker and Docker Compose
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integration workflows
• Exposure to Node.js for backend collaboration
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
• High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and a proactive attitude Calm under pressure, delivery-focused, and driven by continuous improvement.
