Role Overview:

As a Senior Deep Learning Scientist, you will:

• Lead the development of deep learning models using both image and tabular data.
• Leverage multimodal inputs to predict compound toxicity with high confidence.
• Push the boundaries of AI with the latest in contrastive learning, transformers, and segmentation pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform exploratory data analysis on image & tabular datasets.
• Apply feature engineering and data augmentation to boost model robustness.
• Handle batch correction and segmentation of multi-dimensional image data.
• Design, train, and optimize deep learning models, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Build models that provide toxicity predictions with confidence intervals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into workflows.
• Deploy models in production-ready platforms.
• Document your work and present insights to stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in PyTorch & PyTorch Lightning.
• Prior hands-on experience with contrastive learning methods (e.g., DINO, SimCLR, BYOL).
• Familiarity with transformer-based architectures for tabular data (e.g., TabTransformer).
• Strong understanding of deep learning for computer vision & multimodal modeling.
• Experience in model deployment and debugging at scale.
• PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Math, or Physics.
• Proven track record of research publications or product-grade ML deployment.

Bonus Skills:

• Knowledge of diffusion models and large language models.
• Ability to stay up-to-date with cutting-edge research and apply it to real-world problems.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-driven with a problem-solving mindset.
