Job Title: Software Engineer

Responsibilities

▪ Responsible for all aspects of the design, development and implementation of software and

database solutions.

▪ Conceptualize and design software and database solutions and manage processes with team

▪ Work together with the team and to plan and execute projects

▪ Lend support to team as necessary during design, development and implementation to ensure solid,

scalable and robust solutions.

▪ Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum

performance levels, career and skills development

▪ Support and maintain software and database systems to meet business delivery specifications and

needs.

▪ Ensure realistic estimates for timelines to meet deadlines

▪ Effectively manage day-to-day activities in coordination with a team to effectively meet the

deliverables and schedule

▪ Collaborate and work closely with database and application users for understanding and

development of existing processes

▪ Having strong understanding of the software development cycle

▪ Design, develop and implement software and database solutions to include:

▪ prototyping of concepts,

▪ development of standards,

▪ design and development of test plans,

▪ code and module design,

▪ development and testing,

▪ data solution debugging,

▪ implementation of a solution

▪ Provide a software development plan that meets the future needs of the company

▪ Adhere to PBG’s HSE Policy

▪ Ensuring members’ 100% PPE Compliance based on machine and area requirements.

▪ Ensure members & visitors are not wearing jewellery or loose clothing while inside

shopfloor

▪ Educate members in Health & Safety culture.

▪ To conduct investigation regarding incidents encountered.

▪ To provide corrective actions to eliminate incident recurrence.

▪ Conduct regular toolbox talk to members regarding OHS issues.

▪ Coordinate with safety officer regarding all H&S Issues.

▪ Address H&S Issues that are being observed around shopfloor.
