Role: Backend Software Engineer (.net)

Location: Toronto / GTA, ON (Onsite from Day 1)

Job Type: Contract

Must Have Skills

  • Proficiency in .NET framework and C# programming languages including API development, web services.
  • Application development on IIS.
  • Strong Experience with SQL for database management and data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms for deploying and managing applications.
  • Familiarity with event driven architecture.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture for building scalable and maintainable applications.
  • Knowledge of software development tools like Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and improve backend processes and systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD using Jenkins
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues.

Good To Have Skills

  • Microsoft SQL, Azure SQL
  • Azure Cloud (AKS, Service Bus, Redis, ADX)
  • Observability: New Relic.
  • Knowledge of Insurance domain
