The opportunity

Uphold is seeking a Product Manager, Consumer Crypto to lead the development of new consumer-facing crypto and banking features. This role will own the roadmap for delivering innovative crypto products that empower individuals to access, trade, and use digital assets in everyday financial contexts. You’ll be at the forefront of translating crypto capabilities into real-world financial solutions for our global user base.

This role will work closely with engineering, design, compliance, marketing, and customer experience teams to ensure our products are user-centric, secure, and scalable.

The ideal candidate is deeply immersed in the crypto ecosystem and passionate about making decentralized technologies usable for mainstream audiences. You will report to a senior product leader and collaborate across multiple teams in a fast-paced, asynchronous environment.

This is a hybrid role based in New York City, with an expectation of in-office presence weekly.

Key responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for consumer crypto and banking product features, aligning them with company goals and user needs.
• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle—from discovery and definition to launch and iteration.
• Drive the development of trading, wallet, and transaction features that enhance the consumer experience with crypto.
• Translate market trends, regulatory signals, and user feedback into actionable product decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, compliance, and marketing to deliver high-impact features.
• Ensure alignment across internal teams to support regulatory requirements, especially in globally regulated markets.
• Monitor adoption and performance metrics to inform prioritization and continuous improvement.
• Champion innovation while maintaining a strong focus on platform reliability, scalability, and security.
  
  
  

Preferred Skill

• Experience designing and shipping crypto wallets, on/off-ramp solutions, or DeFi features.
• Familiarity with trading systems, order books, or liquidity provisioning models.
• Understanding of blockchain protocols and how they impact consumer UX.
• Strong understanding of KYC/AML requirements in consumer crypto products.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and balancing risk, speed, and compliance in product development.

Salary: $90,000 - $114,000 DOE + Bonus + Benefits, Unlimited PTO, 401K
