Senior UI/UX Development Manager – In-Flight Entertainment (IFE/IFEC Systems)

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior UI/UX Development Manager to join a leading aviation team focused on enhancing the digital passenger experience. You will take full ownership of the visual design and development of user interfaces for seatback in-flight entertainment systems (IFE), connectivity portals, and IFEC mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end GUI design and development across seatback monitors, handsets, and mobile IFEC platforms.
• Evaluate emerging UI/UX technologies and industry best practices to enhance design quality and usability.
• Develop responsive, accessible, and brand-aligned GUI experiences.
• Create user flows and wireframes based on UX trends and global OTT platform standards.
• Manage multiple GUI projects in coordination with cross-functional teams and OEM system vendors.
• Plan and conduct testing for GUI performance and usability across various aircraft types.
• Oversee design documentation, stakeholder communications, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand guidelines during all phases of development.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Design, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in product/UI development, with at least 2–3 years in the aviation or IFE/IFEC domain.
• Deep knowledge of multiple IFE systems from leading OEMs (e.g., Panasonic, Thales, Safran).
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Android-based UI development.
• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and familiarity with frontend frameworks is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
• Experience in mentoring, team leadership, and project coordination.
• Familiarity with media encoding, content management systems, and integration pipelines.
