Network Engineer

Role: Network Administrator

Location: Luxembourg (50% onsite, 50% remote)

Duration: Long Term Assignment

Daily freelance rate: 450-500 Euros/day

Description:

• Architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise software-defined networks (SDN) with expert knowledge of Cisco DNAC and ISE
• Provision of expert advice and assistance, technology watch, architectural considerations, risk analysis, gap analysis, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in Enterprise and Datacenter Network.
• Elaboration of design documentation, with consultation with stakeholders. Deliver the design, installation and configuration of these technologies.
• Operate IT Services according to agreed service levels, ITSM best practices, internal policies and procedures
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level of technical support, register and troubleshoot incidents and escalating to external parties
• Creation & testing of standard operational procedures (backups, restores).

Qualifications:

What would make you a fit for the role?

• At least 5 years of working experience related to the tasks of the Network Administrator described above
• Bachelor’s level or 3 years of higher education or equivalent in professional experience
• Proficient communication skills, orally and in writing in English.

What is an important asset for the role?

• Experience with Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus and Catalyst product line, Fortigate firewall or F5 load balancers, network automation
• Experience as technology expert in one of the following: Systems, database, security
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices in ICT operations
