Senior Java Developer

We're Hiring: IT Developer JAVA – Expert (Tech Lead Role)

Work Mode: 50% On-site | 50% Remote

Mission Context

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with Tech Lead responsibilities to join our IT team. You will be responsible for technical design, coding, unit testing, and managing delivery for key projects. Your role will include overseeing development quality, ensuring alignment with IT stakeholders, and managing project dependencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain code in Java (Java 17) in line with enterprise standards
• Elaborate detailed technical design and conduct unit testing
• Estimate and validate development workloads
• Support in integration, assembly testing, and production deployment
• Assist test management during execution and bug fixing
• Conduct quality reviews of design/code from external suppliers
• Prepare technical documentation (design, testing, reviews)
• Lead and oversee project delivery, ensuring quality and performance
• Manage IT stakeholder engagement
• Track and manage interdependencies within the project

Language Requirements

• English: Strong proficiency
• French or Dutch: Fluency in at least one local language (mandatory)

Experience & Skills

Minimum Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant development experience

Technical Expertise (Mandatory)

• Java 17
• IBM Cloud
• DevSecOps culture
• Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm Charts, Docker

Technical Expertise (Preferred)

• Security best practices

Business Experience

• Mandatory: Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment
• Preferred: Exposure to banking/financial sector or regulatory projects
