AI Futures has been exclusively retained to recruit a DevOps Engineer for a pioneering greenfield project at a market-leading logistics and freight forwarding company. This is a rare opportunity to shape the infrastructure of a new data and machine learning platform within a financially robust, fast-growing, and acquisitive organization.
You’ll work directly with the CTO and engineering team, playing a key role in building scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that underpin core data operations and ML systems. The role offers excellent scope for future leadership and long-term impact on the business.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure to support data and ML workflows
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines with a focus on testing, versioning, and reliability
- Ensure performance, observability, and fault tolerance across systems
- Maintain cloud-native data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Contribute to governance frameworks: access control, compliance, and lineage tracking
- Develop and manage ML pipelines for training, deployment, and monitoring
We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native data/ML tools
- Solid grasp of Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Proven ability to build CI/CD systems for data and ML pipelines
- Proficiency in Python and SQL (experience with PySpark or pandas a plus)
Nice to Have
- Experience with feature stores like Feast or Tecton
- Familiarity with data cataloging tools such as Amundsen or DataHub
- Certifications in AWS, MLOps, or data engineering
