Internship CyberSecurity - Training and Awareness (m/f/d)

Mission Brief

We're looking for a proactive Training and Awareness Intern to join our Security team. You'll play a role in strengthening Isar Aerospace's security culture, helping us ensure that cybersecurity is a shared responsibility across the company. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission by empowering every employee to be a part of our defense.

This is a 6-month opportunity based at our headquarters in Ottobrunn.

Your Role in Our Space Mission:

• Develop and deliver engaging cybersecurity training modules and awareness campaigns.
• Create informative content, including presentations, posters, and intranet articles, on security best practices.
• Assist in identifying common user behaviour weaknesses, such as phishing susceptibility and improper data handling.
• Support the implementation and tracking of security awareness metrics to measure program effectiveness.
• Help maintain and organize security documentation for audits and compliance efforts.
• Assist with GRC-related tasks, including reviewing security policies and procedures for clarity and adherence.
• Collaborate with various teams to integrate security awareness into everyday operations.
  
  
  

Qualification Checklist

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Some exposure to cybersecurity concepts, either through coursework, personal projects, or previous internships.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to figure things out.

• Experience with graphic design tools or e-learning (LMS) platforms.
• Understanding of GRC frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001).
