Fresenius Digital Technology operates a global network consisting of LAN, WLAN and WAN. The team is in the process of modernizing and standardizing the network infrastructure across various regions. We support the implementation of site buildouts, security remediations, tech refreshes, managed LAN and WLAN solutions, cloud security services, and other business unit-driven projects. In addition, the team supports investigations as a Tier 3 support team.

We are looking for an experienced Engineer (m/f/d) to support the design and implementation of the associated network solutions.

Your assignments

• Responsibility for the stable and high performing Network Services
• Provide global IT project support for business partners
• Consulting, implementation of technologies and services
• Provide Tier-3 network troubleshooting and resolution for network services
• Specification and transfer of user requirements into reliable working concepts
• Preparation of cost estimates for technology-related sub-projects and services
• Continuous identification & initiation of service and process improvements
• Diligently document information ITIL and asset management systems
• 3rd party service provider support and service-management

Your profile

• Ideally a successful completed degree with a strong emphasis on IT
• At least 5 years of experience in network administration / operations in a multi-site, multi-national company
• Extensive experience in building and supporting network solutions as well as in common network troubleshooting and network management tools
• Good technical knowledge in network technology and similar technologies
• Good understanding of ITIL-Incident, -Problem and -Change processes
• Skilled in documentation (technical and end-user-friendly)
• Cisco and Palo Alto certifications are desired
• A customer-focused and solution-oriented approach to challenges, even in complex or difficult situations
• Fluent communication skills in English, German skills are a plus
