Delivery Manager - Cyber

Our customer is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to support strategic remediation initiatives focused on cybersecurity, compliance, and technical control implementation. This individual will work across multiple business and technology teams to drive delivery of key risk treatment plans and security-related transformation programmes.

You’ll be responsible for managing complex projects, facilitating risk reduction efforts, supporting change management processes, and ensuring robust governance and communication across stakeholders.

This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate must be able to attend the office in Dublin twice a week. 

Key responsibilities & duties include:

Delivery Execution & Risk Management

• Manage risk treatment plans across business and technology teams to support timely risk mitigation aligned with regulatory requirements.

• Provide updates to risk management forums and escalate any issues or delays in treatment plans.

• Validate that controls are operating effectively by presenting supporting evidence as needed.

• Work with the Cyber Portfolio Manager to prioritise security initiatives and manage progress tracking across the programme.

• Collaborate with product and technical stakeholders to define scope, success metrics, and implementation plans for new or enhanced cyber tooling and controls.

Governance & Communication

• Establish effective governance frameworks across all active projects.

• Ensure strong internal communication practices are maintained and key stakeholders are kept informed throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Coordinate with functions such as legal, finance, procurement, and compliance to support successful project execution.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience as a Delivery Manager, Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Programme Manager in complex IT environments.

• Strong background in managing cybersecurity or compliance-related projects.

• Demonstrable experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Experience working with third-party vendors, including remote and co-located teams.

• Proven ability to draft Statements of Work, value cases, and prioritised backlogs.

• Familiarity with cyber security tools and regulatory frameworks.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including ability to present to Director/C-Suite level.

• Proficient with Jira, Confluence (Atlassian suite), and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).

• Ability to lead change, resolve conflicts, and influence outcomes in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Desirable:

• Experience with compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, NIS-D1/D2, or aviation-related frameworks (e.g., CAF-1753).

• Background in technical delivery gained in consulting or large-scale enterprise environments.

• Experience in supporting audits, risk assessments, incident response, or forensic readiness.
