🛠️ Assignment Overview

You will lead the design and implementation of network infrastructure for the renovation of the LMS building in Huis ter Heide and serve as a cyber resilience advisor for a high-priority communication network.

🎯 Objectives

• Deliver secure, scalable network infrastructure for LMS building occupants
• Enhance the cyber resilience of the existing communication network, including the deployment of a secure management zone

📌 Responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements into high-security technical network architecture
• Act independently and professionally with minimal supervision
• Assess technical feasibility across the project portfolio
• Maintain communication with various internal and external stakeholders
• Support migration and integration of control room infrastructure
• Track market trends and integrate relevant innovations
• Deliver milestones and products within agreed timelines
• Proactively identify and report risks with mitigation recommendations
• Provide quality assurance and operational support throughout implementation
• Serve as knowledge-sharing focal point for all involved parties

👥 Stakeholder Interaction

Stakeholder engagement will span across the Netherlands, involving:

• Architects
• Project leaders and technical teams
• External agencies including safety organizations, defense partners, and experts

🎓 Required Certifications

• CCIE
• CISSP
• CCSP
• CISM
• CRISC

✅ Preferred Certifications

• Citrix Certified
• VMWare Certified
• TOGAF or ArchiMate

💼 Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years as ICT infrastructure architect
• Minimum 10 years in ICT roles
• Minimum 1 year using Enterprise Architecture tools like Archimate
• Senior-level expertise in 3+ technical domains from this list:
• Server-based computing (Citrix)
• Virtual Desktop Integration (VDI)
• Real-time video distribution & display
• IP Telephony, ACD, ARBI
• Incident registration, radio control, voice logging
• GIS systems
• IP networks, RTP/RTSP/multicast/unicast
• Load balancing, virtualization (VMWare), IAM
• Firewalls, PKI (certificates, Kerberos)

⭐ Desired Experience

• 2+ years within control room domain
• Experience with large-scale control room migrations
• Experience reporting to diverse stakeholder groups
• Application of security guidelines and business continuity planning in mission-critical IT environments
• Strong understanding of network protocols such as RTP, RTSP, and related IP infrastructure
