Full Stack AI Engineer

A Fast-growing AI-First Scale-up in the Rotterdam area are currently looking to expand the team with a Full-Stack Engineer with sufficient AI knowledge.

Your Responsibilities

• Front-End Development
• Build and maintain responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React, Next.js, TailwindCSS, and TypeScript, delivering seamless and intuitive user experiences.
• Back-End Integration
• Connect front-end applications to scalable backend services using Python, gRPC, PostgreSQL, and PostGIS to support efficient data handling, including real-time geospatial processing.
• Microservices & Deployment
• Design, implement, and deploy containerized microservices with Docker, emphasizing scalability, modularity, and system reliability.
• AI & Geospatial Integration
• Integrate live AI inference modules and real-time geospatial data streams into production systems.
• Work closely with AI researchers and product designers to develop user-centric features with strong performance and real-world impact.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience—or equivalent through substantial side projects.
• Strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies: React, Next.js, TailwindCSS, and TypeScript.
• Solid backend development skills in Python and gRPC.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and containerized environments using Docker.
• Interest or background in geospatial systems, 3D graphics, or computer vision is a strong plus.
• A self-starter mindset with a proactive approach—you ask “what’s possible” instead of waiting for directions.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English; strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
