Senior IT Business Analyst

Cloud Power Luxembourg sa, is looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst who will be responsible for designing an IT specification framework and coaching business teams to ensure clear articulation of their needs, while ensuring compatibility with Agile methodologies.

Context of the mission:

Our customer (Bank) has decided to foster its data management capabilities and is therefore aiming to implement a new data & analytics platform, which will cover the entire value chain of statistical- and supervisory data (collection, processing, analysis and dissemination). To this end, the bank will launch a multi-annual data & analytics program which will require significant investments in terms of human- and financial resources. This was the result of the conceptual program design phase which has been carried out with a Big-Four Consultant during 2021-2022.

In order to prepare the implementation of the program, the Bank is currently looking for an "IT Business analyst" in order to support the establishment of the business requirements.

Location: 40% remote - 60% on-site

Languages: English / French (mandatory)

Start Date: ASAP

European citizen or valid work permit (mandatory)

Responsibilities:

• Develop a robust IT specification framework for data flows, from acquisition to dissemination.
• Collaborate closely with business teams to understand their processes and requirements.
• Document current processes and models (e.g. using BPMN and GSBPM) to understand inefficiencies or gaps.
• Coach business team members in the effective use of the specification framework, with an emphasis on clarity and consistency.
• Ensure that the specifications produced are understandable and usable by the IT teams responsible for implementation.
• Ensure that the analyses produced are compatible with Agile methodologies and enable iterative and incremental delivery.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Proven experience as a Senior IT Business Analyst, with expertise in creating specification frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes.
• Mastery of Agile methodologies and ability to integrate them into the specification process.
• In-depth knowledge of data flows, from acquisition to dissemination.
• Exceptional coaching and communication skills to work effectively with business and IT teams.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear and concise functional/technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent years of experience).
• 5 years of experience in business analysis.
• Background in Data and Analytics, statistics and analytical applications is preferred.
• Business analysis certification is preferred.
• Professional certification in agile methodologies is preferred.
