We’re hiring: Android Automotive Lead Engineer (AAOS)
📍 Remote-first | Occasional travel to Berlin
Join an exciting project focused on low-level Android Automotive OS (AAOS) development for a next-gen SoC platform. We’re looking for a strong communicator who can bridge deep technical know-how with clear architectural thinking.
💡 What you'll do

Join an exciting project focused on low-level Android Automotive OS (AAOS) development for a next-gen SoC platform. We’re looking for a strong communicator who can bridge deep technical know-how with clear architectural thinking.
💡 What you'll do
- Adapt and integrate AAOS on a new SoC (not app-level work)
- Bring up Android system services and optimize boot time
- Develop and maintain core system components
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues
- Act as a technical advisor for AAOS customization and configuration
- Communicate architecture decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- C++
- Java and/or Kotlin
- Python
- Solid experience with low-level Android system development
- Strong understanding of Android architecture (from HAL to system services)
- Excellent communication skills – you’ll work with both senior management and engineering teams
- English (min. B2)
