Senior IT Business Analyst -

Job Description:

• Expert in Specification Framework

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team as an external consultant for a specific mission. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing an IT specification framework and coaching business teams to ensure clear articulation of their needs, while ensuring compatibility with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a robust IT specification framework for data flows, from acquisition to dissemination.
• Collaborate closely with business teams to understand their processes and requirements.
• Document current processes and models (e.g. using BPMN and GSBPM) to understand inefficiencies or gaps.
• Coach business team members in the effective use of the specification framework, with an emphasis on clarity and consistency.
• Ensure that the specifications produced are understandable and usable by the IT teams responsible for implementation.
• Ensure that the analyses produced are compatible with Agile methodologies and enable iterative and incremental delivery.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Proven experience as an Senior IT Business Analyst, with expertise in creating specification frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes.
• Mastery of Agile methodologies and ability to integrate them into the specification process.
• In-depth knowledge of data flows, from acquisition to dissemination.
• Exceptional coaching and communication skills to work effectively with business and IT teams.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear and concise functional/technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent years of experience).
• 5 years of experience in business analysis.
• Background in Data and Analytics, statistics and analytical applications is preferred.
• Business analysis certification is preferred.
• Professional certification in agile methodologies is preferred.

40% remote 60% on-site

• Documentation will be written in English, but spoken languages can be French (preferred) or English
• Contract Type: External Consultancy
