Overview

We are seeking a contractor for Infrastructure Reliability Engineer to support our ongoing efforts in maintaining, optimizing, and securing our critical systems and services. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional who thrives in complex environments, enjoys operational problem-solving, and brings a strong sense of ownership to platform stability and resilience.

A multidisciplinary team focused on building, operating, and continuously improving infrastructure across a diverse landscape—including on-premise data centers, private cloud, and hyperscale public cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the reliability, stability, and performance of core infrastructure systems.
• Support day-to-day operations, incident response, and proactive maintenance activities.
• Enhance monitoring, observability, and alerting capabilities to ensure system health and visibility.
• Collaborate on release engineering processes to streamline deployment pipelines and reduce risk.
• Assist with containerized application support and orchestration within modern infrastructure platforms.
• Apply security best practices across infrastructure components and operational procedures.
• Participate in platform lifecycle management, including patching, upgrades, and configuration optimization.
• Document and evolve operational processes to drive consistency, resilience, and efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications

• Demonstrated 5 – 8 yrs experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering capacity in a mid to large infrastructure environment.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems administration, networking fundamentals, and system-level troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools in a production environment.
• Familiarity with modern deployment strategies and release automation practices.
• Working knowledge of containerization technologies and orchestration concepts.
• Exposure to both traditional data center infrastructure and public cloud service models.
• Security-aware, with practical knowledge of secure system design and operational controls.
• Proven ability to operate independently in dynamic environments, with a mindset for continuous improvement.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with immutable infrastructure concepts and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in enterprise IT environments.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to contribute to operational knowledge bases.
