We are actively seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager for sales, execution, and delivery of assigned Load Handling Solutions (LHS) Service Projects within MacGregor’s Global Service Division.

You will be ensuring the commercial and technical content of all work (tenders, proposals, offers, and execution) is correct and in line with MacGregor policies.

LHS portfolio of products consist of former MCG compensated products and davits, TTS compensated products and TTS Marine cranes and davits. You will be working on all products as required.

More Tasks And Responsibilities

• Execution and delivery of assigned projects in accordance with Operating Principal Manual (OPM), Integrated Management System (IMS) and project execution guidelines
• Produce specifications, tenders, offers and proposals
• Promote MacGregor products and capabilities (upgrades, retrofit, life extension, modernization etc.)
• Screening new business opportunities and development of new solutions according to market needs
• Contribute to the development of marketing materials and developing sales and tendering tools
• Maintain technical knowledge of products and solutions across the MacGregor product range.
  
  

Reporting directly to the Global Manager, Offshore Service Projects. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Kristiansand, Norway. Other office locations in Norway may be considered.

What You Need To Succeed

You will be a great fit for the role if you have good analytical skills, positive and motivating leadership style. You are also independent, self-driven, flexible and open minded. You have interdisciplinary understanding and you know how to create and build trust with colleagues and clients.

Ideally you have

• Completed higher education at Bachelor’s or Master’s level
• 10+ years of experience in a similar role/business area (from production of cranes and davits)
• Extensive knowledge about our portfolio, preferably as designer, project manager, production of the equipment or service
• Knowledgeable about our legacy products
• Excellent internal/external communication skills
• Willingness to continuous improvement
• Business & Sales driven - making new business boosts your energy
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
