Job Description: Network Specialist SDWAN

Location: Singapore

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Specialist to design, implement, and manage modern, large-scale enterprise network solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SD-WAN, LAN, WLAN, with a strong background in Cisco SDWAN technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, solution, implement, and operate advanced software-defined WAN, LAN, and WLAN infrastructures (Cisco, Versa, Aruba, etc.).
• Evaluate business objectives and recommend appropriate network solutions for enterprise environments.
• Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot complex network architectures, with strong skills in routing, switching, and SDWAN technologies.
• Continuously align the network infrastructure with organizational goals through innovation, automation, and process improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments and vendors to deliver reliable and scalable network services.

Experience & Education:

• Minimum 10+ years in network design and delivery of enterprise-class services.
• At least 4+ years in software-defined networks and preferably SDWAN Viptela environment.
• Diploma or bachelor’s in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent (must).
• Versa Certified Administrator – SD-WAN Specialist or VNX100 Associate (preferred).

Technical Skills:

• Advanced hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN (must) and Versa Secure SD-WAN.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, GRE), QoS, MPLS, VXLAN, IPSec, etc.
• Proficient in WAN, LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Next-Gen Firewalls

Good to Have Skills:

• Familiarity with NFV, SASE, Cisco Umbrella, Versa Secure Access.
• Working knowledge of DDI (Infoblox), Zscaler, CDN/WAF (Akamai, Imperva), and DDoS platforms.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Spectrum, SevOne, CyberArk, ThousandEyes, MS Entra ID.
• Coding/scripting skills in Python and understanding of SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and virtualization (advantageous).

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
• High level of ownership, accountability, and resilience under pressure.
