Full Stack Software Engineer at Truework

  • Join a small, core engineering team responsible for building and maintaining the main product and platform.
  • Take significant ownership and responsibility, including leading projects and collaborating with product managers on feature definition and implementation.
  • Work primarily on backend development, with opportunities for full stack contributions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, design, sales, marketing, and support teams to understand business goals and deliver solutions.
  • Design, code, test, maintain, and integrate backend systems, especially using Python/Django.
  • Contribute to daily engineering activities such as strategy discussions, pull requests, and code reviews.
  • Take ownership of project outcomes, managing priorities, deadlines, and deliverables independently.
  • Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Must have 5+ years of full stack engineering experience, with strong backend skills (Python/Django), and proficiency in React and JavaScript.
  • Experience with REST APIs and SCRUD programming required.
  • Ability to work autonomously, proactively solve problems, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, startup-like environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
  • 100% remote role; must be able to work PST hours, ideally located near San Francisco, CA.
