Junior Designer

Mazarine New York is seeking a Junior Designer (2-3 years of experience) with strong competencies in graphic design, a refined visual sensibility, and a strong conceptual approach. This role is for a creative who understands the nuance of storytelling through design and brings a discerning eye to every detail — from type hierarchy to image selection. Strong graphic design skills are essential.

You will work across a portfolio of brands in the luxury, fashion, beauty and activewear lifestyle space.

Role & Responsibilities

• Conceive and execute strong creative solutions across all platforms — Digital, social, print and presentations.
• Build and design visually compelling decks that communicate strategic and creative thinking, both for internal use and for clients.
• Translate brand narratives and campaign ideas into cohesive visual identities.
• Collaborate closely with creative directors, art directors, copywriters, strategists, and project managers.
• Ensure consistency, clarity, and craft across all visual materials.
• Maintain design quality and attention to detail under tight timelines.

Profile

• 3–5 years of experience at a leading agency or in-house with a luxury or fashion brand.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a clear point of view, attention to detail, and typographic precision.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator); Figma and Keynote skills are mandatory.
• Highly collaborative, proactive, and organized.
• Deep understanding of visual culture — from art and fashion to architecture and editorial design
• Fluent in English (French is a plus)
