We are looking for an experienced NOC Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis fully onsite. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability and security of network systems that support critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring a robust technical background and a commitment to maintaining high-performance network operations.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain secure wireless, multi-site, and industrial control networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including IP telephony and security systems.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal staff to ensure smooth, uninterrupted network functionality.
• Manage network documentation, including IP space allocation and asset lifecycle tracking.
• Provide support for access control systems, CCTV, and network access control solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security standards such as NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 3 and organizational policies.
• Optimize network infrastructure by configuring Cisco routers, switches, and wireless controllers.
• Monitor and maintain Palo Alto firewalls to enhance network security and performance.
• Lead efforts to improve the scalability and reliability of network operations.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
• Proven expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, and VLAN configurations.
• Strong familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls and network access control systems.
• Certifications such as Cisco CCNP, CISSP, and PMP are required.
• Experience with CCTV systems and access control technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to meet Tier II background investigation requirements.
• Thorough knowledge of network security policies and best practices.
