Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze complex data sets using data science techniques to produce actionable insights
- Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical analyses to support cybersecurity compliance objectives
- Improve data quality in primary security and IT data sources through ITSM processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update corporate data sources based on analytical insights
- Use Snowflake extensively for data retrieval and analysis
- Work with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and manage workflows
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to inform security compliance strategies
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist
- Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience in Snowflake for data processing, performance optimization, and managing large datasets
- Advanced skills in data querying, joining, and analysis, including data quality checks and identifying patterns across multiple schemas
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., anomaly detection, classification, regression) and familiarity with deep learning concepts
- Proficiency with Python, especially for data manipulation, machine learning, and workflow automation
- Experience with Snowpark for data pipelines, feature engineering, and ML tasks within Snowflake is a plus
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and related workflows
- Knowledge of security-related data and compliance is a plus
- Ability to automate workflows using Snowflake stored procedures and Python UDFs; capable of designing end-to-end data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and model deployment
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, with strong communication skills to deliver insights to technical and business audiences
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with the Panaseer solution is a plus
