About The Role

As an Android Kotlin Developer, you will make an impact by designing and developing high-quality mobile applications that deliver seamless user experiences. You will be a valued member of the Moment team, collaborating with designers, product managers, and other developers to build scalable and maintainable solutions for Android platforms. Your contributions will help shape the future of mobile technology in a dynamic and innovative environment.

In This Role, You Will

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends and technologies.
  
  

Work model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in city, state. What you need to have to be considered

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Android development using Kotlin.
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Familiarity with Android architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced level of English.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and modern UI development practices.
• Experience with Firebase, GraphQL, or other backend services.
