About This Role

Are you a seasoned Software Engineer with a passion for building scalable and robust integration solutions? Do you thrive in complex environments, working with diverse technologies and collaborating with both internal and external partners? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our logistics capabilities.

As a Senior Software Engineer in our Logistics team, you will be instrumental in enhancing and consolidating our Logistics services. You will be involved in the evolution of our current systems, designing and building new services. Your expertise will be crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining critical components that help our agents keep our logistics system running smoothly.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for our logistics platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Architect and implement robust data pipelines using Kafka Design and implement seamless integrations with internal APIs and external partner APIs.
• Develop and maintain both synchronous HTTP APIs and asynchronous event-driven integrations.
• Apply your understanding of event-driven architectures and microservices to build a scalable and maintainable platform (EDA and DDD).
• Actively contribute to the design and architecture of new services as our platform expands.
• Contribute to the understanding and utilization of logistics metrics (e.g., delays, city metrics and couriers ) for dynamic decision-making.
• Ensure the quality and stability of your code through thorough testing and adherence to best practices.
  
  

What will you bring to the table?

• Strong experience in software development with a proven track record of building and deploying scalable applications.
• Strong architectural understanding of DDD
• Solid understanding and experience with Java and Kotlin.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with Kafka, including producers and consumers.
• Experience with other messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs
• Experience with event-driven architectures and microservices.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and practical experience with systems like MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
