Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our growing team working on DECT and telecommunications products. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our products through a combination of manual (80%) and automated (20%) testing.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans to identify defects in software functionality, usability, and performance.
• Document test results and identify areas for improvement.
• Participate in bug tracking and resolution processes.
• Collaborate with engineers and other QA personnel to ensure effective testing procedures.
• 20% of the role will involve automation testing. While prior experience is not required, you should be open to learning and potentially working with tools for launching and modifying existing test scripts. Familiarity with Python or a similar scripting language would be a plus (but not strictly required).
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices for software testing methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working collaboratively in an international English-speaking environment.
• Strong ability and desire to work effectively in a team setting.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in a technical-oriented or related specialty is considered as a plus;
• At least 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Experience in test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
• Technical Skills: (While not mandatory, these skills are a plus)
• Familiarity with DECT and telecommunications technologies.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) like Agile and Waterfall.
• Ability to use automation testing tools (a willingness to learn is a plus).
