Senior Software Engineer

For one of our multinational financial services clients, we are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their Software Engineering team. You’ll take the lead in frontend development, working hands-on with React and TypeScript, and guiding a team of 5 developers.

You will play a critical role in building and improving our internal Web Applications, Web APIs, and ETL pipelines, ensuring our investment business becomes more scalable, robust, and efficient. You’ll collaborate directly with business stakeholders to turn complex needs into well-architected software solutions, and work closely with engineering teams across Europe.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, has a strong architectural mindset, and is motivated to raise the frontend bar within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of frontend architecture and implementation using React & TypeScript
• Guide and mentor other developers on best practices in frontend development
• Design and build scalable and maintainable frontend applications tailored to business needs
• Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, with no intermediary between you and the business
• Collaborate with DataOps, DevOps, infrastructure, and platform engineering teams
• Continuously contribute to the evolution of our tech stack and development standards.
• Stay up-to-date with frontend trends and tools and help drive innovation

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of production experience in frontend development using React & TypeScript
• 3+ years of experience with Python in production environments
• Solid experience writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Hands-on experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve production issues
• Bonus: Experience with GraphQL, FastAPI, Ant Design (AntD), Hive, Airflow

• Competitive base salary up to €80,000 gross annually, including applicable allowances
