Senior Azure DevOps Engineer – Core Infrastructure & Governance

Location: Amsterdam (Hybrid – up to 1 day/week onsite)

Salary: €90,000 – €100,000 + 7% bonus

Contract Type: Permanent or Datavest options

Overview:

A leading digital consultancy is growing its high-performing public cloud engineering team and is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on core infrastructure, governance, and compliance. You’ll play a key role in delivering secure and scalable Azure Landing Zones for enterprise and public sector clients in the region.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Deep knowledge of Azure networking, RBAC, Azure Policy, Monitor, and Defender
• Expert in Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep), CI/CD pipelines, GitOps
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (BIO, NIS2, CIS) and sovereign cloud environments
• Strong DevOps mindset and ability to improve/extend existing platform capabilities

Nice-to-Haves:

• GitOps tooling (FluxCD, ArgoCD)
• Sentinel, Crossplane, or Policy-as-Code experience
