Product Designer

Founded in 2010, the Amorim Luxury Group is the leading luxury lifestyle group in Portugal, shaping the intersection of gastronomy, fashion, and hospitality, with iconic brands like Fashion Clinic, JNcQUOI, and PAULA. Created in 2024, House of Capricorn is the group’s latest brand — a premium homeware label celebrating Portuguese craftsmanship with global inspiration, offering products from furniture and textiles to lighting and decorative objects. The brand is currently undergoing rapid growth and international expansion.

Main Responsibilities

• Create surface designs, patterns, and prints for various homeware products;

• Support the design and development of shapes, forms, and finishes across product categories (e.g., cushions, lamps, tableware);

• Curate color palettes aligned with seasonal trends and brand identity;

• Research and propose materials, textures, and innovative finishes;

• Develop digital mockups, sketches, and renderings to support production;

• Stay up to date with luxury homeware trends and contribute fresh ideas;

• Work closely with colleagues and external suppliers to ensure efficient execution.

Requirements

• Degree in Product Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or similar;

• Solid portfolio showcasing product and/or graphic design work (patterns, surface design, etc.);

• Passion for product design, with interest or experience in homeware or lifestyle products;

• Strong visual culture, conceptual flexibility, and creative thinking;

• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign);

• Knowledge of materials, finishes, and color theory;

• Detail-oriented, with the ability to deliver creative work that is also functional and on-brand;

• Great communication skills and a collaborative mindset;

• Experience with 3D software or AI-generated design tools is a plus (not mandatory);

• Comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
