Key Responsibilities

As a Food Assessor – Food Sector, you will be responsible for auditing food safety and quality management systems, either independently or as part of a team. Your role will involve:

• Assessing and verifying food safety systems against recognized standards
• Delivering clear, objective feedback to help clients enhance their operations
• Engaging with stakeholders and serving as a trusted expert in food compliance
• Contributing your knowledge to support service development and innovation
• Ensuring audits align with regulatory and accreditation requirements

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who possess:

• A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
• Practical experience in quality management and food safety within the food industry
• A minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in food production or food technology
• Current certification to audit IFS Food and BRC Food (essential)
• Additional qualifications in FSSC 22000, BRC S&D, IFS Logistics, ISO 22000, or BRC Packaging (highly advantageous)
• Fluency in both English and Romanian (spoken and written)
• A methodical, analytical mindset paired with confidence and a proactive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
