Key Responsibilities
As a Food Assessor – Food Sector, you will be responsible for auditing food safety and quality management systems, either independently or as part of a team. Your role will involve:
- Assessing and verifying food safety systems against recognized standards
- Delivering clear, objective feedback to help clients enhance their operations
- Engaging with stakeholders and serving as a trusted expert in food compliance
- Contributing your knowledge to support service development and innovation
- Ensuring audits align with regulatory and accreditation requirements

Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
- Practical experience in quality management and food safety within the food industry
- A minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in food production or food technology
- Current certification to audit IFS Food and BRC Food (essential)
- Additional qualifications in FSSC 22000, BRC S&D, IFS Logistics, ISO 22000, or BRC Packaging (highly advantageous)
- Fluency in both English and Romanian (spoken and written)
- A methodical, analytical mindset paired with confidence and a proactive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
