Android Developer

We require a Senior Android Developer to work on a key project for one of our customers. The project will see you building a platform for trading stocks, forex, commodities, and crypto. This is a B2B contract and is remote providing you live/work in the European Union.

Requirements:

• Strong background in Android Development, developing native mobile apps
• Experience with Kotlin, and delivering high quality UI components
• Test Driven Development - they operate a trunk based development approach
• Strong knowledge of managing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, to focus on rapid deployments of high quality code
• Pair Programming - this will be a minimum of 5 hours a day, collaborating with other senior engineers to support their XP practices

1. You have strong experience with TDD - ideally you'll have worked with the red, green refactor approach
2. You are happy to spend the majority of the day pair programming

The project will initially run for 3 months with likely extensions (the project should run in total for at least a year).
