Senior Full-Stack Engineer

At Fuse, we're building a fully integrated energy company — from solar, wind, and hydrogen development to power trading and distributed energy installations. We're also building the Energy Network — a decentralized system where users earn Energy Dollars for electrifying their homes and helping stabilize the grid.

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you'll work across the stack to build the core digital infrastructure that powers this system — from real-time energy data pipelines to customer-facing applications. You'll collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers to deliver high-impact, production-grade software.

We've raised $90M from top investors including Multicoin, Accel, Lakestar, and Balderton, and we operate 22MW of solar and wind with 1GW+ in development.

You'll be working across the full stack:

• Designing and implementing user interfaces using React.js and its ecosystem
• Developing messaging interfaces with our third-party providers
• Constructing a real-time digital twin of our renewable generation and customer demand
• Building high-volume pipelines for processing customer energy consumption
• Collaborating with backend to work on APIs to fetch and manipulate data
• Delivering responsive, cross-browser compatible interfaces with strong performance
• Building the backend and frontend of a world-class energy app
• Developing and constructing our consumer-facing website
  
  

For this role, you should be able to think on your feet and adapt to new business needs as well as take ownership of projects and drive change. As an early member of the Fuse Energy team, you will help bring clean, cheap electricity to households around the world.

Requirements

• Demonstrable excellence as a Software Engineer
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in a highly analytical discipline
• 5+ years of professional experience in web development
• Ideally 2+ years of experience in backend development
• Proven ability to define and build complex systems
• Hands-on experience shipping highly-available production systems
• Excellent verbal communication abilities
