Human Resource Generalist

6 month contract

Toronto- Hybrid

Responsibility:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment across all business functions: job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Collaborate with external recruitment partners and headhunters for specialized hiring.
  • Track, analyze, and report on recruitment metrics.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system; process employee lifecycle changes (new hires, terminations, promotions, etc.).
  • Generate and analyze HR reports and dashboards (e.g., headcount, turnover, demographics, recruitment metrics).
  • Provide day-to-day support to employees on HR policies, benefits, and employee relations matters.

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a corporate, fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on recruitment.
  • Solid understanding of Canadian employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills; advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset.
