Technical Business Analyst – Data Systems & Visualization

Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills. You will contribute to project planning, process improvements, and system enhancements, ensuring that solutions align with organizational goals and deliver measurable value.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Proven experience managing all details related to business applications within an assigned vertical, including system interfaces, data content, and data storage;
• Demonstrated ability to support the user community by addressing business queries and providing guidance on optimal system usage during daily BAU activities;
• Must have hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or other BA documentation platforms;
• Must have proficiency in using tools such as BPMN, flowcharts, and use case diagrams to visualize business processes effectively;
• Must have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and recommend practical, effective solutions;
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, and/or Scrum methodologies.

Desired Skill-set

• Experience in banking, insurance, e-commerce, or healthcare domains;
• Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics;
• Skilled in wireframing and mockups using Balsamiq, Figma, or Axure;
• Familiar with UML, UAT planning, test case writing, and project timeline management.

Responsibilities

• Collate and manage all application-related data including systems interfaces, data content, and underlying architecture;
• Provide support and guidance to users on business queries and system usage in daily BAU activities;
• Analyze and document project scope and impact, including justification for non-impact decisions;
• Ensure project design aligns with long-term data flow strategy and business architecture;
• Gather, rationalize, and walkthrough business requirements with internal teams and stakeholders;
• Collaborate with solution architects and business teams to ensure scalable, standardized, and sustainable solutions;
• Propose and validate testing approaches and sign-off criteria with relevant stakeholders;
• Lead and manage UAT activities including scheduling, coordination, and issue tracking;
• Prepare comprehensive documentation on data flow, business design, solutioning, and testing following defined templates.
