About the Role:

An exciting opportunity to join an expanding product design studio. You will be working in partnership with some of the world's biggest brands on multiple turn-key projects, developing best in class branded promotional items, value added packaging, and POS materials. This is a fast-paced role with wide exposure and true responsibility. Consequently, adm is looking for a highly skilled design graduate to fill this very rewarding role.

You will be reporting to a Lead Product Designer. Briefs are varied, from single pieces to entire product ranges, across multiple materials and activation channels; an excellent knowledge of a wide range of materials and processes are essential. You will learn how to work collaboratively with all stakeholders, including client leads, suppliers and our internal teams across the globe. You will be expected to rapidly produce innovative ideas and develop these into fully resolved, production-ready designs.

Responsibilities

· Design new products to a high standard employing design functionality and design by brand thinking, whilst maintaining a consideration for production costs.
· Understand the client brief and translate this into a creative proposal (artworking, photoshop, renders)
· Produce innovative (production feasible) concepts in-line with creative agency proposals and/or client briefs
· Develop chosen concepts into a final design, ready for prototype and production
· Consult with account handlers to ensure the client is kept updated and is bought in to the final design
· Communicate, as necessary, with suppliers to ensure the design is brought to reality accurately
· Collaborate with all stakeholders throughout.
· Work closely with the Insight and Innovation team to provide design support for any new creative concepts, as required

Skills and Experience


· High proficiency at Solidworks to production level (must have)
· Rendering/animating with Studio Max/V-Ray/Arnold beneficial
· Core Adobe Suite skills
· The ability to combine user-centred and brand-focused design thinking
· Understand producing designs with a clear path to market
· Good general knowledge of multiple materials and production processes
· Excellent design communication skills, through sketching, written word and spoken presentation
· Passionate about product design
· A team player
