Senior .NET Developer

About the Role

We are a leading tech consulting firm seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our team for a client engagement based in Brisbane. You’ll be working closely with our client’s internal teams to design, build, and maintain enterprise-level software applications. This is a hands-on development role ideal for someone with strong client-facing communication and technical leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable and secure applications using the Microsoft .NET stack
• Participate in requirements gathering and solution design with client stakeholders
• Lead or contribute to technical discussions and architecture planning
• Ensure quality code through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to development best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, DevOps, and QA
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers
• Support deployment, integration, and production troubleshooting as needed

Technical Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of professional experience in .NET development
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and LINQ
• Frontend integration using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and frameworks like Angular or React
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Storage, etc.)
• Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, or Git
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with client stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience in consulting or client-facing project delivery
• Exposure to microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
