Senior Java Developer

We are actively seeking a Senior Java Developer to become a part of our remote workforce. Our organization is currently undertaking a significant project that focuses on transitioning and modernizing our traditional application suite into a SaaS-based model, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and frameworks hosted on Oracle Cloud. This position provides a chance to engage in an innovative project that will transform our corporate software environment.

Responsibilities

Streamline migration processes to boost both efficiency and precision
Construct and implement control strategies to automate provisioning and streamline the onboarding of customers
Develop and sustain personal health record systems integral to our product offerings
Architect, program, and upkeep Java-based components and interfaces
Engage in every stage of the development lifecycle, from initial concept through to final deployment
Craft well-structured, testable, and efficient code
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to conceptualize and design novel features
Assess user needs to guide the architectural and design decisions of applications
Generate and maintain comprehensive code documentation and contribute to technical documents

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
At least 3 years of experience in a Java Developer role
Advanced skills in using the Spring Framework to develop robust Java applications
Proficient in utilizing JUnit for crafting and conducting unit tests in Java environments
Well-versed in CI/CD methodologies for creating automated software delivery pipelines
Knowledgeable in using Kubernetes to manage applications within containerized environments
Strong grasp of object-oriented design and SDK development, particularly within cloud-based settings
Experienced with the infrastructure and services provided by Oracle Cloud
Fluent in English, with a proficiency level of B2 or higher

Nice to have

Advanced capabilities in JavaScript for undertaking front-end development tasks
Experience with TypeScript to develop scalable web applications
Familiarity with microservices architecture for designing scalable and independently deployable software modules
