✨ About the Role

Join the EEAS team as a Developer Assistant ! You’ll support developers in all aspects of software design and coding, while building your skills in a collaborative international environment. This is a great opportunity to grow your technical expertise and gain hands-on experience with modern tools and methodologies.

🛠️ Main Tasks

  • 👨‍💻 Assist developers with software design and coding activities.
  • 📝 Participate in development meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
  • 📚 Learn the codebase and progressively enhance your coding skills.
  • 🔗 Manage communication with project stakeholders.
  • 🤝 Support senior developers with administrative and technical tasks as needed.

🎯 Knowledge & Competences

 📌 Technical Skills:

  • For this project Java is mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or similar).
  • Strong respect for deadlines and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good understanding of coding standards and development guidelines.
  • Basic programming experience.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adopt new tools and technologies.
  • Team player with adaptability and a collaborative mindset.

📌 Software Development Lifecycle:

  • Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • GitHub
