Project Context

The client is undergoing a large-scale digital and analytics transformation. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work on data science use cases focused on improving operational efficiency, product quality, and supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and translate business challenges into data science solutions
• Develop, train, and validate machine learning models for use cases such as predictive maintenance, quality forecasting, and process optimization
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams
• Ensure models are production-ready and integrated into the operational environment
• Support the improvement of data pipelines and ensure data quality
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders

Ideal Profile

• 5+ years of experience in data science, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and data modeling
• Expert in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.) and SQL
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Familiarity with tools like MLflow, Airflow, Power BI
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent in Dutch (mandatory)
