Full Stack Front End Software Developer, Draw Games

We are seeking a Full Stack Front End Software Developer to join our team working on Veikkaus' draw games product family. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Our team develops and maintains the systems for Veikkaus' draw games — business-critical, high-volume, cloud-native solutions built on a composable architecture. From scratch design and development to solving complex challenges, we ensure secure, high-quality, and maintainable systems. With financial transactions at the core, reliability and professionalism are paramount. We foster a culture where freedom and responsibility go hand in hand.

We provide valuable services directly to consumer customers, so the quality of our work must be close to our hearts. We have the biggest online consumer store in Finland, offering a wide range of games and gaming products with safe, responsible, and innovative gaming experiences.

Technologies and products we use include, but are not limited to: TypeScript, React, Cypress, Zustand, Node.js, Gitlab, Nginx, jest / vitest, Grafana, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Linux.

We Expect You To Have

• Have at least 2+ years development experience on the frontend side
• Higher education degree of computer science or equivalent
• Have at least 1+ years development experience on the backend side
• Be familiar with some of the other technologies listed above
• Have knowledge in full stack system development, preferably in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in English

The role is based in Helsinki, at the headquarters of Veikkaus. Veikkaus prefers a flexible hybrid work model between a remote workplace and an office.
