About the Client:
Our client develops advanced software solutions for hospitals and clinics, helping to streamline imaging workflows and improve diagnostic accuracy. Their platform is used across Europe and is trusted by healthcare professionals for its reliability, scalability, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Clojure

• Integrate with PACS/RIS systems, ensuring compliance with the DICOM standard

• Collaborate with product and clinical teams to understand user needs and deliver high-impact features

• Support the ongoing evolution of the system architecture with a focus on scalability and performance

• Ensure quality, security, and regulatory compliance in all integration points

Required Experience:

• Strong commercial experience with Clojure

• Hands-on experience integrating with PACS/RIS systems

• Solid understanding of the DICOM standard and medical imaging workflows

• Familiarity with healthcare IT environments and data privacy requirements

• Fluency in English (German language skills are a plus)

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to HL7 or FHIR

• Experience in cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.)

• Background in regulated medical software development
