About the role

Senior Optimization & ML Engineers are finding better ways to come to excellent planning results for our planning solution. You will combine classic optimization and modern approaches such as machine learning/ AI to enhance our optimization technology. Doing so, you are collaborating with other domain experts and full stack developers to deliver the best possible UX to our users.

As Senior you make an impact beyond your own contribution and significantly drive the capabilities of our solution.

Tasks

• Development of new features in our optimization engine (from data processing to mathematical optimization).
• Creation and maintenance of test pipelines for performance and unit tests.
• Implement new software designs for new components and modules.
• Work closely with full stack developer for application integration.
• Evaluation and decision on optimization algorithms.

What To Bring

• Expert Level Coding Skill in Python (Staff Engineer/ Principle Engineer Level)
• Experience in another language like C++, Rust or similar
• Professional experience in software design and architecture
• Actively used mathematical solvers and constraint programming in frameworks like Gurobi, CPSAT, SCIP, HiGHs, etc. from the domain of MILP and Constraint Programming in professional settings.
• Experience in building automated evaluation/ testing pipelines for machine learning or optimization models using GCP or Azure.
• Experience in end-to-end python project delivery from development to operations (development, testing, build, containerization, deployment, monitoring).
• Optional: Machine Learning experience in classification/ regression models on timeseries or graph structured data.
