DevOps Engineer AWS – Dublin City Centre (WFH hybrid)

To be based on a hybrid (2 days in Dublin City) basis, my client is an insurance multinational working on a significant transformation project.

They have engaged with IT Search to engage a DevOps Engineer with significant AWS experience for this permanent position.

Joining their existing Platform team, the role is to monitor, automate and improve their deployment processes, working with development teams on automation projects and related areas.

The Role

• Focus on examining and automating existing processes and workflows
• Work on Platform reliability, Monitoring and Alerting
• Maintain focus on security and high level of coding quality

Requirements:

• 6+ years of post grad AWS DevOps experience, ideally but not necessarily in Financial Services
• Ability to work in Dublin City at least two days per week
• Python or Bash scripting expertise (any ReactJS or similar a bonus)
• Knowledge of Docker, SQL, Linux and a keen interest in workflow documentation
• Additional networking understanding
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
