The successful candidate will be supported by a centralised project management team and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic initiatives from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute multiple projects through the full lifecycle — from initiation and design to execution, commissioning, and closeout.
- Work autonomously on smaller-scale projects while supporting the wider programme team on complex, high-value initiatives.
- Ensure all projects are delivered in alignment with safety, budget, and schedule expectations, and in compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and industry codes.
- Lead cross-functional teams delivering manufacturing facility and processing projects in a high-tech, automated, GMP-regulated production environment.
- Monitor and manage financial performance of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and lifecycle cost control.
- Oversee contractor and vendor performance, project schedules, and resource planning.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks through structured risk management and mitigation planning.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental standards, and all relevant site protocols.
- Promote and monitor safe working practices among contractors and internal teams on-site.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (Level 8 preferred) in engineering or building services.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams in GMP-regulated environments.
- Full end-to-end project lifecycle experience, from design through commissioning and qualification (C&Q) to handover.
- In-depth understanding of project management frameworks, including scope definition, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Track record of delivering projects on time with a focus on documentation quality and compliance.
- Ability to support the development of SOPs, maintenance strategies, and calibration plans in collaboration with end users.
- Competence in CMMS platforms (Maximo preferred).
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), EHS requirements, and site safety protocols.
- Experience with SAP and financial budgeting systems is desirable.
