About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Developer to join DB Systel on a remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and customization of Jira and Confluence applications. You will also provide technical consulting and solutions to enhance the functionality of these platforms, working closely with clients to meet their needs.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize apps for Jira and Confluence
• Provide technical consulting to clients on process flows, agile methods, and quality gates
• Assist in the implementation and execution phases of client projects
• Ensure reliability, maintainability, operability, and cost-efficiency of Jira and Confluence installations
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions and app evaluations
• Conduct reviews of the apps and make recommendations based on evaluation criteria and future direction
• Participate in the conception and customization of Jira/Confluence instances
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders, coordinating and advising them on app usage and best practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Jira/Confluence Datacenter, including development, implementation, and scripting
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira Service Management, Atlassian Jira/Confluence, and Apps for Jira/Confluence
• Expertise in ScriptRunner, Jira Assets Plugin, REST interfaces, and APIs
• Strong background in web development: Java, React, Velocity, JavaScript, HTML/CSS in relation to Jira
• At least one project with 50+ users, demonstrating experience in evaluating and implementing API interfaces
• Documenting and transferring knowledge for at least 2 projects, including apps or customizations
• Experience with popular Jira/Confluence apps such as Xray, E-Mail This Issue, and DrawIO (5+ years)
• Proficiency with GitLab pipelines (2+ years of experience)
