As part of our Software Engineering unit, the DevOps Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the overall software delivery lifecycle, automating processes and ensuring the seamless operation of cloud environments.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- Designing, implementing and managing a highly available, scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure
- Automating the infrastructure using IaC tools, scripting languages and containerization & orchestration tools
- Building CI/CD pipelines and ensuring automated testing, deployment and monitoring
- Implementing security best practices for cloud environments
- Collaborating with software engineers, architects and system administrators to ensure integration and improvement of development workflows
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in AWS environments as well as on premise
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins), version control (e.g. Git, GitLab), IaC (e.g. Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible) and Docker containerization
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Groovy, Jenkins DSL, Bash, PowerShell)
- Beneficial would be experience in Java frameworks
